No object, but a stance
Abstract metal sculpture thinks in weight, balance and void rather than motifs. You can find abstract metal sculptures for sale in steel, bronze, aluminum or hybrids, from tabletop piece to room object.
Without a motif only things you feel remain: how an arc swings up, how an edge breaks off, how two bodies touch without fusing. Metal makes these decisions hard and final, and that gives abstract work its severity.

Technique and price
Depending on technique the result feels different: bronze warm and dense, stone with metal contrasty, mixed media many-layered. Price bands run from 500 to 1,000 euro to 2,000 to 5,000 euro.
Buying notes
Check weight, footprint and the type of join between the parts. Ask whether the piece is meant for indoors or outdoors and which coating it carries. At 1,000 to 2,000 euro you often find the first larger works.
