Space between the parts
Larger abstract metal sculpture works with volume, void and tension. You can look for abstract metal sculptures from 1,000 to 2,000 euro for sale when the form alone should carry the piece.

Surface as attitude
Bare brushed steel feels technical, darkly blackened steel solemn, rusty steel lively. The choice decides whether the piece suits bright rooms, rustic spaces or offices. Ask about the protection of the surface, since unprotected steel shows traces even indoors.
Practical matters
Expect several kilos of weight and check how the piece is packed. A signature stamped into the foot or lasered, along with a note of authenticity, is common. For ideas, also look at classic sculpting in general.
