When the stone has a say
Abstract natural stone lives on what the stone already brings: layers, pores, shifts of color. Anyone looking at abstract natural stone sculptures for sale will find forms that feel of rock, dunes or watercourse.
With natural stone, grain and structure help determine the form. A sculptor working abstractly follows these lines or breaks them on purpose. That yields surfaces ranging from grain of sand to silk gloss. Color plays along: cream tones feel calm, reddish sandstones warm, slate severe. A single gesture can be enough to turn the block into a work of art.

Narrowing well
Many paths lead to the right piece: via statues, stone, the bands 1,000 to 2,000 euro or 2,000 to 5,000 euro. Pay attention to type of rock, weight, impregnation and suitability for outdoors. Cleaning with a brush and water is enough. With some room around it the form shows from every side, and after rain the tone of the stone visibly shifts.
