The rock sets the tone
Stone is patience and weight, and both can be seen in a sculpture. Stone sculptures for sale come in marble, granite, natural stone and other rocks, abstract, expressive or strictly reduced.
Marble is soft enough for flowing forms and glows when polished like skin, granite is hard, grainy and resilient, natural stone brings color and structure from its place of origin. Depending on treatment, the impression is smooth and cool or raw and primal.

Styles and prices
Abstract stone forms play with openings and planes, gestural pieces show the force of the blow. Entry formats appear in the 500 to 1,000 euro band, with 1,000 to 2,000 euro and 2,000 to 5,000 euro size and effort grow.
Plan the weight properly
Stone is heavy, even in small sculptures. Check the support and plinth, and place the piece in a fixed spot. Outdoors, porous rock needs protection from frost, so ask the listing.
