Rocks that tell
Stone carries abstraction better than almost any other material, because it already has history as a block. Abstract stone sculptures for sale come in marble, granite, diabase or natural stone, polished, ground or left rough.
Marble shows veins and lets light in, granite sparkles with grain, diabase is nearly black and very dense. Natural stone carries color from its place of origin. Abstract forms let the rock speak for itself: a curve, an opening, a ground edge.

From small to large
Small pieces start in the 500 to 1,000 euro band, and in 1,000 to 2,000 euro and 2,000 to 5,000 euro size and effort grow. Polished, stone looks cool and refined, bush hammered or pointed it looks rough and primal.
Weight and standing place
Expect more weight than the dimensions suggest. A stable plinth, a sturdy piece of furniture and some felt under the base protect floor and sculpture. If the piece is combined with metal in a steel base, the listing should mention it.
