Color that explains itself
Abstract painting in oil lives on color, surface and weight, entirely without a subject. You can find abstract oil paintings for sale here, from the small format to the wall-filling composition.
Without an object the paint stands alone: it sits dense or thin, shines or rests matte, pushes forward or pulls back. Oil makes these qualities especially clear, because it stays workable for a long time and lets tones pass gently into each other.

Rhythm in the room
Abstract paintings take up moods and pass them on. A bright picture can open a dark hallway, a dark one can ground a living room. Hang it where you often see it in daily life, for example opposite the sofa or at the end of a hallway.
Finding a fitting choice
Depending on your budget, bands such as 500 to 1,000 euro or 2,000 to 5,000 euro make sense. The technique, such as oil on canvas, can also serve as a filter. Read dimensions and support, and ask about the hanging direction.
