Mass of color with a plan
Large abstract oil painting works with space, rhythm and mass of color until a surface begins to breathe. You can find abstract oil paintings from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale here, with the authority of large formats.
Even without a subject an abstract picture follows a plan: points of emphasis, counterweights, pauses. Oil allows layers to be scraped off, covered and set anew until the balance is right. In this band it often shows that the process was long and the result looks relaxed.
