Hard, cool, final
Stone is the most patient way to build something abstract, because every chip that falls is final. If you want abstract stone sculptures for sale between 1,000 and 2,000 euro, think about weight and surface from the start.
Sandstone and limestone can be worked grainy and warm, while dense granite or basalt holds sharp edges and mirrors the room when polished. Abstract forms use this: a polished plane beside a roughly pointed one shows two faces of the material in a single piece.

Weight and support
Even small stone pieces often weigh more than expected. Plan a solid place for it, such as a sturdy shelf board or a plinth, and add a thin felt layer so wooden surfaces stay unmarked.
Care and frost
Polished stone tolerates a damp cloth, rough surfaces prefer a soft brush. Outdoors, not every type of rock handles frost, so ask the listing. More pieces in marble show how soft stone can look.
