The stone as a conversation partner
Where stone is thought abstractly, only the handwriting between block and void still counts. Abstract stone sculptures in natural stone for sale belong in rooms that put structure and material at the center.
Natural stone has quirks: veins, inclusions, pores, layering. Abstract stone sculptures take them up instead of hiding them. Notes on choosing
Look at type of rock and impregnation, especially if the piece is meant for outdoors. Weight and dimensions belong in every description. Set the sculpture on a firm, level base and leave air around it so light and shadow can unfold. A light plinth or a gravel area under the sculpture directs the eye to structure and shadow.
