Working with metal
Metal gives stability and contour and permits filigree constructions on which other materials hang or lean. That produces pieces that look light and firm at once.
Deciding with confidence
The technique calls for answers to practical questions: how durable are the joins, which parts are delicate, how is the object moved? Have construction, dimensions, weight and care explained. A quiet plinth with free surface draws the eye to the sequence of materials.
