Originals in this selection, Style Collage, Material Acrylic, under 500 euro.
Paper, paint and glue in one
Collage lives from joining, and acrylic is the ideal binder, since it glues, covers and seals at once. Buying collages in acrylic under 500 euro can be an entry into this art of scraps, and they appear here as paintings for sale.
Acrylic medium holds newspaper edges, sheet music, scraps of cloth or photographs on the canvas and freezes them under a protective layer. In between, the artist keeps painting until the found pieces turn into a coherent composition. Photographic finds, sheet music, tickets or strips of cloth give collages a handwriting of everyday life. The smaller the format, the more it pays to read each piece of paper individually. That is exactly the charm of small works.

Checking the details
Ask about the papers used: acid free materials yellow less. A varnish or protective coat helps the collage resist dust and touch.
