Working in layers
Large format collages work like maps of an imagined world: paper, fabric, lettering and paint lay themselves over one another. Collage paintings in acrylic for sale from 2,000 to 5,000 euro suit people who like dense pictorial worlds.
Here found pieces are not just glued on but composed, overlaid and partly removed again. Acrylic medium forms the supporting film, and paint above it sets the hierarchy of the elements. The result looks spatial even though it stays flat. Large collages live from articulation. Notice how zones of density and calm alternate and whether single elements guide the eye. A well built picture stays legible even years on.

A center for the wall
A large collage picture in a room with calm furnishing draws the eye at once. The depth reveals itself gradually, on stepping closer, on returning.
Durability and care
Ask about papers, adhesive method, overall weight and varnish. A certificate of authenticity with date and signature details makes sense at this scale.
