Acrylic as a partner
Abstract acrylic is fast, direct and carries anything from a delicate veil to a thick layer of paste. If you want to see abstract acrylic paintings for sale, spray paint, charcoal and pencil often appear as ingredients in the picture.
Acrylic gets along with a lot: charcoal draws on it, pencil scratches into it, spray paint makes soft mist. The result is work that swings between painting and drawing, where a quick gesture may stand beside a long reworking.

Placing and hanging
An abstract acrylic painting lives from distance. From a few steps back you take in the composition, closer up you find scratches, drips and overpainting. Plan a wall that allows that change, for example at the end of a hallway.
Points to clarify
Ask about the support and size, and whether spray paint or drawing material was used, because such surfaces dislike wet cleaning. Dry dusting is enough. If a matte look matters to you, ask about the gloss level of the surface and whether a varnish was applied that could be removed later.
