Chance as a tool
Abstraction on paper lives on the tension between gesture and chance: an ink run, a squeegee pull, a torn edge. Abstract mixed media on paper is for sale here in many different hands, from the quiet to the loud.
Water sends pigment wandering, glue holds paper strips in place, wax repels paint. Such effects can be steered but never fully controlled. That is the appeal: the sheet keeps the trace of how it came about. Worth knowing: abstract works have no fixed way of hanging. Try the sheet in a different orientation before you settle, since another direction sometimes feels calmer. The signature normally marks the intended bottom edge.

In a room these sheets work in groups or as a single center above a dresser. For more choice by technique, browse the mixed media works; for a smaller budget, look at pieces under 500 euro.
Details in the listing
Check whether the paper is acid-free and whether elements are glued down or just laid on. If wax or oil is involved, ask about storage, which should be flat or rolled and never folded.
