Originals in this selection, Abstract, Paper, 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Layers instead of a motif
When a picture has no subject, surface, line and the shift between materials carry everything, and paper keeps those layers easy to read. Abstract mixed media on paper is for sale here in a price band where pieces tend to be fully developed.
A matte patch of gouache meets glossy ink, a scrap of tissue paper sits beside it, and a graphite line runs across both. Paper adds no coarse weave in between, so every layer stays distinct. The eye reads the sheet like a map of materials.

What this price band offers
In the middle range of original art, larger sheets and settled artistic handwriting are common. Collage and paint have usually grown together over several passes instead of simply sitting side by side.
A frame with air
Wet and dry media respond to humidity. A frame with a gap to the glass keeps glued elements from sticking to it. Choose a wall without direct sun so ink and pigment hold their depth, and look for acid-free paper in the description.
