White with many nuances
Abstract form grows out of mineral white: plaster needs no color to show effect. Anyone who wants abstract mixed media with plaster for sale will find wall objects made only of light, shadow and structure.
Plaster is rarely truly white: it can look broken, yellowish, gray or faintly pink, depending on additive and pigment. Abstract artists use these nuances and combine them with charcoal, ink or acrylic. The trace in the material remains the main motif.

Calm on the wall
Plaster calms a room when paired with white, wood and stone. A relief on the dining wall, in the hallway or above the bed gives it a focus. Choose a wall with good side light, so the structure lives.
A look at technique and price
If you search with color, look under Painting, if you go by budget, under 2,000 to 5,000 euro. Ask about weight and back. Plaster can break if it falls, so make sure the hanging is solid.
