Less is more here
Minimalist painting forgoes everything superfluous: one field of color, one line, one distance, and the picture needs nothing more. Minimalist paintings for sale between 2,000 and 5,000 euro are usually sought for calm in rooms where every detail carries weight.
Where little is in the picture, every nuance counts: how evenly the paint lies, how precise the edge is, how much white surface is left standing. Minimalism is therefore not emptiness but concentration. Standing in front of one for a while, you notice how the eye calms down and reacts to the smallest color differences.

Technique and surface
Minimalist pictures mostly arise in acrylic on canvas with evenly opaque planes, sometimes in acrylic paint on other supports. Mattness and evenness are the quality marks here.
Wall space and light
Minimalist works need a wall where they can act undisturbed. Hang them with wide distance to furniture and lamps. Even, soft light lets fine tones come forward. A single picture can organize a whole room if everything else steps back.
