A scaffold of planes
Cubist drawing breaks object and space into planes and shows several views at once. Cubist drawings for sale come in pencil, graphite and pastel, often in the tier of 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
A face appears from the front and in profile at once, a guitar becomes a structure of triangles. With pencil and graphite the edges stay sharp and the construction transparent. The eye has to assemble the parts itself, and does so with pleasure.

Order in the room
Cubist sheets have a built-in structure that suits clear furniture and window fronts. Frames with straight edges, a precisely cut mat and even light let the planes speak. Several sheets can be arranged in a grid.
Keeping the technique in view
If you look for color, you find it in pastel; if you look for severity, in pencil. Ask about paper, signature and fixing. Detail shots of line crossings show how cleanly it was drawn. The description should also state the format.
