Planes of silver
Graphite suits cubism surprisingly well: planes, angles and shadows can be built with it in the finest gradations. You can buy cubist graphite drawings for sale here, also as pencil work or at the level 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Every facet gets a tone of its own, and the graphite holds them in a balance of cool sheen and matte grey. The breaking-up of the object becomes a pattern you read up close and from afar. What is special about graphite: even sharp-edged planes stay finely graded, so the picture looks strict and yet shows a quiet, almost velvety surface.

Strictness at home
Cubist sheets fit rooms with metal, glass and clear contours but also bring structure to soft rooms. A slim frame and a generous white mat support the construction.
Notes on choosing
When selecting, look at the quality of the edges and the evenness of the hatching. Ask whether a template or study exists, since it gives insight into the composition.
