Velvet black with a stump
Photorealistic charcoal drawing is a contradiction in itself: the dustiest drawing material produces smooth, deep surfaces here. Photorealistic charcoal drawings for sale cover portraits, still lifes and detail studies, and the page on vine charcoal offers comparisons.
The trick lies in blending: with a paper stump or a cloth the charcoal is rubbed until no grain remains visible. Then an eraser lifts highlights that look almost like reflections. That is how faces and metal surfaces of striking depth come about.

Against light walls
The dense black shows best next to pale walls and wooden furniture. Low-reflection glass with a spacer protects the soft surface, and a frame in oak or black underlines the weight. Avoid places with drafts.
Taking condition seriously
Ask about fixing, paper weight and the state of the edges, since blended passages are sensitive. If you want a sheet to start with, under 500 euro has examples in smaller formats.
