Black like printing ink
Charcoal is underrated as an illustration tool: it supplies rich areas, hard edges and a grain that nearly imitates printmaking. Graphic charcoal drawings for sale cover illustration, typography and poster motifs, also with vine charcoal.
Compressed charcoal covers strongly and can be bounded cleanly with a stencil or ruler. The result recalls woodcut or linocut: deep areas, clean edges, white areas as light. The sheet still keeps the soft edge that gives away a hand drawing.

Light and dark in the room
A graphic charcoal sheet dominates a wall if it is large and sets an accent if it is small. A frame in black or oak and a white mat emphasize the black and white effect. Low-reflection glass helps with window light.

Fixative, glass and a spacer are the three things to ask about with charcoal. Paper weight and size matter too. In the tier under 500 euro you find simpler formats that are easy to frame.
