Edges, lines, angles
In photography, modern often means reduction to form, light and perspective. Modern ink photographs are for sale for anyone who wants a picture that brings order into a room.
Modern shots look for geometry in everyday life: a staircase from above, scaffolding against the light, a facade in raking light. The pigment print keeps straight lines clear and surfaces even, which is what makes such subjects appealing.

Which room it suits
A modern sheet fits into offices, kitchens and apartments with clean-lined furniture. Choose a thin frame and leave enough wall free so the geometry is not disturbed by neighboring pictures.
Looking further
A comparison is worthwhile between color work and sheets in the 500 to 1,000 euro tier. With every print, look at paper, signature and edition, and measure how much space the wall really offers. Another plus of such motifs is that they hardly age in design, since they rely on form instead of fashion. If you want to live with a sheet for a long time, clear lines are good counsel.
