Bearing instead of effect
Classical photography works with measure and center: a portrait in side light, a landscape in the golden ratio. You can find classical ink photographs for sale if you prefer pictures that please quietly and for a long time.
What counts here are composition, light and patience. In ink printing the character of a silver print, with soft midtones and fine black, can be reproduced well, above all on paper with a slight tone.

Frame and wall
A wooden frame in oak or walnut, a mat in broken white and a calm wall suit such pictures. They fit living rooms with books and natural materials and do not push themselves forward.
For choosing
A comparison between color work and prints in the 500 to 1,000 euro tier helps with orientation. Look for acid-free paper, the signature and the numbering of the edition. A classically built picture also tolerates small formats, because its order already lies in the crop. If you have little wall, you do not have to give up this style. A clean margin remains important.
