Riddles in fine line
Surrealism on paper shows scenes that suspend logic and are drawn with astonishing precision. Surrealist paintings on paper are for sale here, also as acrylic and collage or in the range 1,000 to 2,000 euro.
Floating objects, shifted scales and rooms that fold themselves over: surreal motifs live on precision. Paper allows thin lines and fine glazes that quickly turn coarse on canvas, and it keeps even the smallest shadows clean.

Effect on the viewer
Such sheets hold the eye because they do not explain themselves at a glance. A calm wall color and a calm frame give the motif room without overloading the space. An armchair in front of it makes sitting and puzzling easy.
Paper and care
Ask about weight, paper type and fixing. Fine glazes are sensitive to light, so they belong behind UV glass. A mat of acid-free board protects the margins, where paper ages fastest.
