Line as surface
Abstract painting with pencil makes structure the subject: lines, grids, clouds of hatching. You can find abstract paintings with pencil for sale here in many formats and price tiers, from small and delicate to large and dense.
The pencil is a tool of exactness and therefore suits abstract systems. Repetition, contrast and pause become the content. Some artists combine it with acrylic or mixed techniques and gain a second layer that way.

Narrowing by technique and price
To start by technique, look at acrylic, acrylic on canvas or mixed media. In price the range goes from under 500 euro through 500 to 1,000 euro to 2,000 to 5,000 euro. Check fixing and glazing.
Paper, panel or canvas
Abstract pencil painting is made on very different supports. On paper the lines look finer, on canvas grainier, on primed wood almost engraved. The description names the support, and that determines whether you need glass or varnish.
