A grid under the paint
Where acrylic on canvas supplies the color fields, pencil lays the grid over or under them, fine as a blueprint. You can find abstract acrylic paintings on canvas with pencil for sale here if surface and line matter equally to you.
Many abstract painters first apply graphite to the primed canvas, divide the picture into fields and then fill them with acrylic. Where the paint stays thin, the line glimmers through as a silvery shadow. That interplay gives the surface a second, calmer layer.

Large panel, bright wall
On canvas, such pictures feel direct and physical without glass. A bright wall with side light shows the graphite traces best. Plan for weight and stretcher depth, especially if the format is meant to hang above a sofa or sideboard.
Questions before deciding
Find out whether the pencil lines lie open or sit under varnish. Open graphite rubs off when touched, protected graphite tolerates gentle dusting. Notes on painted edges and hanging hardware also belong in a good description.
