Density as a subject
Abstract pencil pictures in this tier are rarely mere sketches, they often carry a whole system of lines, densities and gaps. You can find abstract paintings with pencil from 500 to 1,000 euro for sale here if you enjoy order and tension together.
Where lines lie close, darkness appears; where they open up, the paper turns light. From this alternation abstract draftsmen build fields, horizons and spaces without depicting anything. With additions of acrylic or charcoal, sheets gain body.

Format and wall
Larger sheets tolerate a narrow floater frame and plenty of distance from neighboring pictures. Hang them at eye level so the lines can be read. In the description, look for paper weight, fixing and notes on light sensitivity.
Recognizing additional materials
Some abstract pencil sheets carry traces of charcoal, chalk or acrylic. That makes sense, since it adds warmth to the surface. The description should name every material so you can match care and framing. Ask if anything stays unclear.
