The movement stays visible
Ink can spatter, run, drip and race across a sheet in a single sweep. If you want expressive, gestural ink paintings for sale, you are choosing pictures in which the movement of the arm is still readable.
Gestural painting is about the moment: a swing of the wide brush, a flick from the wrist, a drop that stays where it landed. Ink records this because it hardly builds up and instead sinks into the surface. Dark areas look deep, and pale edges show where the liquid traveled.

Big gestures, big walls
These pictures hold a wide wall and like to hang alone. If you want more body, compare them with acrylic on canvas, and for a softer feel with watercolor. Look at the dimensions and at whether the piece is described as framed or unframed.
Darkness by measure
How dense the black sits decides the effect. A surface of fully saturated ink dominates the room, while a picture of thin spatters lets wall and furniture play along. Think beforehand about how much force your room can take, and choose the format after that.
