Gesture as handwriting
Gestural mixed media shows movement as its main motif: swing, pressure and tempo stay legible in the picture. You can find expressive mixed media for sale here, from pure mixed media to painting with acrylic and metal.
Every movement leaves traces: a wipe, a veil, a drip running down. In mixed media, tools and stuffs join in that guide the hand differently. A piece of foil or metal changes pressure and direction.

Dynamics at home
Gestural pictures bring movement into rooms that are otherwise restrained. Above plain furniture or on light walls in particular, they create tension. Choose a format that fits the space, because pictures that are too small lose their energy.
Keeping price tiers in view
You will find examples between 1,000 and 2,000 euro if you prefer larger formats. Look for details on support, thickness of application and varnish, and ask about the recommended hanging. Comparing several pictures shows how differently tempo can act: sometimes a long, calm sweep, sometimes a short, hard setting of paint.
