Line in flow
Gestural drawing is hand movement on paper: ink, nib and water follow the swing. You can find gestural mixed media drawings for sale here, with ink, watercolor and pen and ink.
Nib and ink make every movement visible, from fine hairline to rich blot. Watercolor flows beside it, runs, blends. The sheet holds a moment that cannot be repeated.

Paper in the room
Gestural drawings are especially strong in groups. Three sheets with different dynamics, in matching frames, produce a rhythm on the wall. Hang them at mid height so you can make out the stroke and the drops.
Hints for buying
Ink and watercolor are light sensitive. Ask about pigments, paper and glass with UV protection. For an entry point, a look at works under 500 euro pays off. Framed with a mat, they are best protected because the paper can breathe. Drawn gesture needs no grand entrance, since a single sheet in a plain frame already sets a lively accent on a quiet wall.
