Line meets color field
Abstract painting in mixed media builds pictures from color, structure and additives. You can find abstract mixed media painting for sale here, for example with ink, graphite or acrylic.
Graphite draws fine lines through color grounds, ink runs out in puddles, acrylic lays opaque zones over it. The result is a surface with memory: you see what was there first and what was overlaid later.

Color and space
Abstract paintings work with spatiality without showing perspective. Cool tones recede, warm ones come forward. On a calm wall, such a picture acts like a window into a space that does not exist.
Before choosing
Take your time with the decision and look at several works side by side. Price-wise you will find examples here, for instance between 1,000 and 2,000 euro. In the description, watch for support, varnish and dimensions. With longer looking, transitions appear that you miss at first: an edge where paint peeks out from under paint, or a spot where the paper breaks through.
