Space and proportion
Geometry lives on proportion. Check how the picture format fits your wall: a square feels calm, a long rectangle moves the eye. Hang it with even distance to furniture or doors.
Details before buying
Ask whether the edges of the support are painted and whether a protective coat was applied. Pastel and stone are sensitive to abrasion, so some distance from the touch zone makes sense. Details on size and weight help. If you like geometric painting, look at the color edges: cleanly set edges with a slight trace of the hand are a good sign of careful work.
