Color spaces instead of motifs
Abstract painting with mixed media uses color as the lead actor and brings in extra material for depth. You can find abstract mixed media painting for sale from 1,000 to 2,000 euro, on canvas, panel or paper.
Here painting builds spaces out of fields: a deep blue that roughens on a sand edge, a light spot that breaks from a dark layer. Mixed media makes sure transitions are colored and tactile at once. Stand close and you notice how each edge is worked differently, one rubbed soft, another cut sharp, a third built up thickly.

Format and hanging
With abstract paintings, size affects the room strongly. A landscape-format work stretches a wall, an upright picture stresses room height. Measure the wall and mark the area with painter’s tape before you decide.
On care
Painted surfaces with added material do not tolerate wet wiping. Remove dust with a soft brush. Ask whether varnish was applied and whether a frame is recommended or the piece should hang free.
