Originals in this selection, Mixed Media, Abstract.
Abstraction without genre borders
When abstract art picks no fixed technique, mixed media appears in its most open form. You can find abstract mixed media works for sale here, for example on paper or with oil paint and gouache.
Painting, collage and drawing merge without one technique setting the tone. A stripe of gouache runs over oil traces, a paper edge sets the boundary. Compositions arise from chance, decision and material all at once.

Paper and canvas compared
Works on paper are quieter and more intimate, they want to be seen up close. Larger works on canvas act like room events. Both can hang side by side in a selection if frames and distances are chosen with care.
Starting by price
If you want to begin carefully, first look at works under 500 euro, mostly paper and smaller formats. From there you can decide step by step which materials please you most. Precisely because no rule dictates how the result should look, it pays to compare several works and listen to your own first impression.
