Relief printing with feeling
Linocut joins carving and printing into strong, direct pictures. Linocuts with ink are for sale from under 500 euro upward, in styles such as impressionism or graphics and illustration.
In linocut only what is meant to print remains standing on the plate. The ink sits on the raised parts and gives flat color, rough and fresh. Multi-color prints come from additional plates. For newcomers this approach is especially rewarding, since the technique is easy to follow and the finished sheet openly shows its craft.

Directness on the wall
Linocuts have a clarity that can be read from afar. They suit plain furniture, wood and textiles. A slim frame is enough, a mat with a margin makes the sheet feel festive.
Genuine and numbered
Ask about edition, number and signature. Slight differences in color belong to the hand-pulled print. Good paper takes the ink richly and shows the impression of the plate.
