Originals in this selection, Linocut, Paper.
Relief printing with paper character
Linocut on paper is direct, strong and handmade. Linocuts are for sale already under 500 euro, for instance with graphic motifs or everyday scenes.
A linocut shows how paper takes ink: on smooth paper edges are sharp, on rough paper the print looks softer, with fine gaps. Both effects have their appeal and shape the whole picture more than you might expect.

Warm in the living space
Linocuts bring handcrafted warmth to rooms with wood and textiles. They also work in small formats, and several sheets quickly make a gallery wall. A mat with plenty of margin lets each sheet breathe. Where daylight comes in from the side, lines and surfaces become especially legible, which keeps a sheet lively in everyday life.
The details
Ask about number, signature and edition size, plus the paper and the ink. Hand-printed sheets show natural variation, which belongs to them. Care for the paper by keeping it away from light and damp.
