A large blue and white (you can ask me to print in other colors) linocut looks deceptively simple, but can actually be right there with the most difficult, to make an image really work when you only have 2 "colors" means you have to look at things in a different way. I use a fantastic paper, crisp white with a velvety surface, and the best waterbased ink.
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist,
and I sign, title and number each print.
"My Garden" is printed in a short second edition of 40 prints,
you might not receive the number seen in the photograph.
The linocut itself measures 16" x 23", (40cm x 60cm )
and the beautiful piece of clear and crisp white Zerkall
printmaking paper measures 27" x 20", (70cm x 50cm)
Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc. The home interior photos might not be entirely to scale.
