From block to sheet
Linocut is relief printing with a soft material: whatever should not print is cut away. Anyone who wants to buy linocuts for sale values strong contours, clear areas, and the trace of the hand.
The linoleum block is worked with gouges, inked with a roller, and printed by hand or in a press. Because only the ridges left standing carry ink, the image forms from black and white or from a few clearly separated colors.

Powerful in the room
Linocuts carry distance well because their contrasts are unambiguous. They work over furniture, in a stairwell, or in a hallway, in series as well as alone. Frames in wood or metal give the handmade a quiet setting. Even small formats achieve great presence this way.

The process works in many styles: Impressionist, graphic, or with ink especially deep black. To fix your budget, look under 500 euro. Watch for edition, paper, and signature.
