How color carries a picture
Color photography shows the world in its temperatures, from cool morning blue to the red of a late summer evening. Color photographs for sale can be sorted by style and price, for example impressionist or minimalist motifs.
In a good color photo the palette is chosen on purpose: it may consist of skin tones, of greens with one red dot, or of sky and sea. Reproduction and paper decide whether that selection arrives in the print as intended.
