Summer Dream No. 06. In this work, the landscape is reduced to its most elemental relationships: light, color, and space. The horizon almost disappears, leaving the viewer with an experience of silence and ambiguity. The photograph features subtle tonal transitions, transcending the mediums documentary nature and approaching painterly abstraction. A photograph taken using a custom-made, vintage tilt-shift lens, which achieves such a painterly effect without any digital manipulation.
This is a collectible work that doesnt dominate the interior but contributes to its atmosphere.
