More than one handwriting
When abstraction does not hang on a single material, mixed media becomes an open playground. Anyone seeking abstract mixed-media paintings with spray paint for sale wants surfaces where can, brush and found piece work together.
Abstract mixed technique combines spray paint with charcoal, chalk, papers or sand. Each material leaves its own traces: grainy, silky, smooth or rough. The picture becomes an archive of gestures layered over each other on the surface.

Cohesion of the layers
With many materials on one surface, durability is a real question. Good descriptions say what the work was bound and sealed with. Ask when sand, paper or textiles are included, and watch for loose spots at the edges.
Hanging with raking light
Relief-like mixed technique lives on side light. A spot beside a window or under a wall lamp brings out structure and depth. In flat frontal light the work shows mostly color. Both have their charm, and the choice is yours.
