Traces of several gestures
Mixed media on paper lets an artist draw, paint, glue and scratch within one sheet. Mixed-media paintings on paper are for sale here between 2,000 and 5,000 euro, and each technique leaves its own trace.
Charcoal, oil stick, acrylic and watercolor work into each other without one layer hiding the next. On strong paper, scratches, scrapings and glazes can be combined. The result feels denser than any single technique.

Price tier and ambition
At 2,000 to 5,000 euro, originals often mean large sheets and long working time. Check that every medium is named in the description, since care depends on it, and ask whether any parts were fixed.
Place in the room
A study or dining room with even light shows these sheets at their best. Anti-reflective glass keeps fine lines from vanishing in a glare. A deep mat keeps wax and charcoal safely away from the glass.
