Supports with effect
Abstract work in acrylic can arise on canvas, panel, paper or metal, and on larger pieces the support helps decide the look. Abstract acrylic paintings for sale from 5,000 to 10,000 euro are best viewed with support and structure together.

Structure and depth
In pieces of this size, a sequence of glazes and opaque layers often lies stacked up. You recognize it in color transitions that never look quite flat, and in edges under which another color glimmers. Warm hues often meet cool metal surfaces, and it is exactly that contrast that creates the effect.
Practical questions
Large panel pictures weigh more than you think. Clarify the hanging system, the wall material and the transport packaging. Note the details on protective varnish and the build of the back.
