Qualities in daily life
Acrylic on canvas is the technique of clear statements: the paint covers reliably, dries fast and stays stable for years without yellowing. Acrylic on canvas paintings for sale from 2,000 to 5,000 euro let you choose among very different handwritings.
Acrylic is water based and water resistant once dry. Dust can be removed with a slightly damp cloth. The surface may be matte, satin or glossy, which changes the effect of the colors noticeably. Because the weave is evenly primed, colors stay clean and bright even when applied thinly.

Styles in acrylic
Especially common are abstract pictures, urban and pop and expressive, gestural work. The technique allows dense, flat tones as well as delicate dilutions.
Format and wall choice
Measure the wall before buying and tape out the format with masking tape. Note the depth of the picture, since stretcher bars of several centimeters look stronger than flat ones and need no additional frame.
