A technique that carries
On acrylic canvas, brushstroke and spray mist combine into pictures with weight. Anyone looking at acrylic paintings on canvas with spray paint from 2,000 to 5,000 euro for sale wants mature works on a large scale.
Acrylic on canvas is the most common base of modern painting: flexible, fast drying, strong in color. Spray paint adds softness and speed. At large formats a surface results that is as interesting up close as from a distance.

Big canvas, sturdy build
At formats in this price range, construction counts. A stretcher with cross braces, tightly pulled canvas and clean corners are good signs. Ask for dimensions including depth, so wall and frame fit together.
Placing and lighting
Set the picture at eye level and leave room on the left and right. Track lights with soft, diffuse light bring out structure and gradient. Avoid reflective surfaces nearby, as they distract. Together with wooden furniture a warm contrast emerges.
