Masking tape and a steady hand
Sharp edges, flat colors and exact shapes: acrylic on canvas is the material that makes graphic painting easiest. Graphic, illustrative acrylic paintings with typography for sale in the 2,000 to 5,000 euro range are best chosen by how clean the outlines are.
For clean lines, areas are masked off, outlines drawn with brush or marker, and color applied so densely that no canvas shows through. With lettering, the precision of the letter edges decides the effect. Even line widths, a clean ground and a calm palette are the tools of the trade here.

As a focal point in the room
Graphic pictures work like posters. With bold colors and clear motifs they give a wall attitude at once. Above a sideboard or a desk they steer the eye. Such pictures hang especially well in series side by side, at equal spacing and equal height.
Buying notes
Check whether the edges and sides are painted too and whether a protective varnish was applied. For flat colors, matte or satin is usually more discreet than high gloss.
