Painting as body work
When painting becomes an act, the moment of application counts. You can find gestural mixed media painting for sale from 500 to 1,000 euro here, originals in which arm movement, speed and changes of material can still be read.
Gestural painting often happens standing and in broad sweeps: pigment is flung, wiped, scraped. When found objects, glue or paper join in, each material asks for a different grip. That makes the rhythm of the surface uneven and alive.

Hang it with room around it
Gestural painting does not take well to a tight frame with a wide mat. A shadow gap, a floater frame or no frame at all with a painted edge work better. Hang the work so its direction of movement fits the way you look into the room, for example left to right toward the door.
Notes for buying
In the description, watch for the orientation of the work, since some pieces function both upright and sideways. Ask whether hanging in several directions is intended, and whether signature and date sit on the front or the back.
