Less, but exact
One hue, one stroke, a lot of empty ground: minimalist art makes sparseness its subject. Minimalist mixed media works with oil pastel are for sale here when a quiet sheet should bring order to your room.
In minimalist oil pastel works the chalk is often drawn flat, in long, even pulls. You can see the direction of the hand, tiny grooves in the paper and a slight density where pressure grows. If you are facing the decision, picture the sheet alone on your wall. Minimalism tolerates little company, and a single work with a generous margin often has the strongest effect.

Use the empty spaces
The less happens on the sheet, the more the space around it matters. Choose a wall that lets nothing compete and a frame that holds back. For more color see painting; for middle-priced sheets, the 500 to 1,000 euro band.
Clarify details
Ask about paper quality, format and margin. With simple compositions small things decide, such as whether a stripe lies exactly horizontal or deliberately a bit tilted.
