Original artwork description
There is something captivating about a horse running free.
Powerful yet graceful, untethered yet purposeful, horses have long symbolised freedom, strength, and the instinct to follow their own path. Untamed was inspired by that spirit—a reminder that not everything beautiful is meant to be controlled.
Hand-printed using the reduction linocut process, this artwork was created through multiple layers of carving and printing from a single block of lino. Flowing carved marks bring movement to the horses mane, while vibrant blues, oranges, magentas, and deep purples create a sense of energy and individuality.
Bold and expressive, Untamed celebrates freedom, resilience, and the wild beauty that exists both in nature and within ourselves. It is a piece for those who are drawn to movement, adventure, and the quiet confidence of living life on their own terms.
