Water-based color in print
Acrylic in printmaking puts matte, opaque color on paper and dries fast. Prints made with acrylic are for sale, already under 500 euro, for example as a monotype or in minimalist forms.
Acrylic paint is water-based, dries quickly and can be printed over in layers without dissolving the layer below. That allows clear surfaces, overlays and strong tones that stand matte and rich on paper.

Color that carries
Acrylic prints work as fields of color in a room and suit clear architecture. A frame without pattern lets the color speak. Keep the sheet out of damp rooms so the paper stays flat.
Notes on the sheet
Ask whether the sheet is a hand-pulled print, a screen print or a monotype, and how the color was fixed. Paper type, number and signature belong in the description. Mat and glass should fit the size too. Acrylic can also be combined with other techniques, such as monotype or screen printing, producing sheets with a layered surface.
